Join us to celebrate 60 years of all that is Otumoetai College – “Oats” Friendship, fun, sport, music ,memories and re-connecting with those who have made learning enlighten life for you. Spread the word and gather your friends for a fantastic day.

Registration price: $175pp for the full day & evening dinner and $75pp for the day only (not dinner). Partners are welcome to register for all events.

| 8:30 AM | Pick up registration pack. History display in PAC. |
| 9:00 AM | Powhiri and Official Welcome. Kapa Haka. |
| 9:45 AM | Coffee and Kai. |
| 10:00 AM | Photos by decade. |
| 10:30 AM | Opening Speeches in PAC. Principal, past teachers, and students. |
| 11:00 AM | Tour of school and proposed building plans. |
| 12:00 PM | Planting of the 60th Anniversary tree. Official photograph taken. |
| 12:25 PM | Past staff photograph. |
| 12:30 PM | Lunch and networking. Picnic lunch to be collected from the staffroom. Time to mingle and connect. |
| 1:15 PM | Music performances by school band and drama performance in PAC. |
| 2:00 PM | Sports games: Netball, volleyball, basketball, touch rugby. Ex-students and staff vs current students. OR Debate: “How Technology has influenced Education in Aotearoa for the better.” |
| 3:15 PM | Past staff afternoon tea in staffroom. |
| 6:00 PM | Venue: Mercury Baypark Stadium, Truman Lane, Mount Maunganui. Drinks, refreshments, and nibbles. (Complimentary drink, then cash bar.) Ex-staff and students sharing memories. |
| 7:00 PM | Dinner. Cutting of the cake by past principals. Performances by school choir and other musical items. Speeches by a past and present student. Closing remarks and recognition of ex-teachers and ex-students’ contributions. Karakia. |
