Ko Okohanga te whare wānanga,

Kia māramahia te ora e te akoranga.
Tihei mauri ora!

Takitimu is the waka
From Maunganui to Pūwhenua,

Ōtūmoetai College is a co-educational Year 9 -13 school, based in the Bay of Plenty.

The College values diversity and places priority on achievement and behaviour, in order to create a learning environment that enables our students to achieve their personal best in their academic studies, sport, the arts, or cultural pursuits.

Our roll includes students from increasingly diverse backgrounds. Approximately 24% of the students are Māori, with many students affiliating to local iwi, Ngāti Ranginui.

Ōtūmoetai College is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment, with everything we do and say being underpinned by and through our school’s purpose, vision, valuesgraduate profile and learning definition.

Ōtūmoetai College strives to provide students with real world experiences as well as new situations which challenge what they think and know to inspire students to want to learn more.
