Training Co – Creating Pathways

This year the Pathways Department has given 54 lucky year 12 and 13 students the chance to achieve their Forklift Licence with a new provider, Training Co.

Training Co. was established in August 2022, Training Co Ltd is a diverse new company based in Tauriko, Bay of Plenty. Their focus is “Creating Pathways” not only for people to upskill, but also to re-enter the workforce.

​Training Co offers quality forklift training with an approved registered trainer who has over 35 years experience as a forklift operator and their aim is to provide skills and education on safer work practices as well as providing high quality training and expertise in all areas of forklift operation.

Feedback from our students has been overwhelmingly positive so lookout for the opportunity to attend future courses in 2024!

The Great Race
The Great Race was held to find locations around the school and answer questions.

1st – Catelyn Evans, Milly Simon and Pauline Beetz gained 25 points (Puwhenua) to take out top spot
2nd – Ella Wilce 14 points (Maunganui) – Only individual
3rd – Vincent Fabert (Karewa), Draco Currin (Otanewanuku) & 1 other (unknown) 13 points
