Students vs Staff Basketball Game

What an epic showdown! On Wednesday, September 25th, our Year 13 students (with a few Year 12 subs) faced off against the staff in a thrilling basketball game!

The atmosphere was electric, with students rallying behind their teams,  the staff eager to avenge the earlier volleyball defeat. With just 20 seconds on the clock, the students sank a crucial free throw, pulling ahead by 2 points!

But wait—what’s this? The staff swiftly dribbled up the court, found an open teammate, and with a final heartbeat of the game, launched a 3-pointer… SWISH!  The staff claimed victory in an unforgettable finish!

A massive shoutout to our incredible referees, Te Awa and Finn, for keeping the game flowing!

Until next time, students—let’s bring the heat again.
