What a ride! Our five girls’ teams and three boys’ teams took Rotorua by storm, battling it out over two action-packed weekends! From the adrenaline of the courts to the excitement of travel, it was an unforgettable experience for all our players.
It was truly a sight to see so many Ōtūmoetai College volleyballers giving it their all, representing our school with pride both on and off the court. A massive shout-out to each and every one of our teams for their hard work and determination.
Special shout-out to our Junior A Boys – they went all the way to the semi-finals, falling just short against the eventual champs, but bounced back like legends to take the bronze in a strong performance against Whakatane High School!
Huge thanks to our amazing coaches and managers for their dedication, energy, and support. Without them, none of this would be possible. Their commitment inspires our rangatahi every step of the way.
But the journey doesn’t stop here! Next up: North Island Junior Volleyball Champs in Auckland starting next week. Stay tuned for more updates, epic photos, and hopefully a few cool videos of our teams in action!
