HoopNation Junior Showcase Basketball Tournament

A big shoutout to our senior basketball players representing 3D Basketball at the HoopNation Junior Showcase Tournament in Whanganui during the holidays. Our boys went undefeated in Pool Play, and won a tight Q/F in OT with Luca Henderson hitting 2 free throws with 2 seconds left to force Over Time. The S/F was against Brotherz, team made up of MMC, Trident, and ACG (3 players from Tauranga U18A Rep team), a classic local derby with the lead changing numerous times and our boys finishing the stronger. Unfortunately they lost the final to a very strong team from Wellington.

BEAT Tasman Heat (Nelson): 50-26
BEAT No Limit Ballers (Wellington): 59-57
BEAT 1SK (Palmerston North): 52-44
Q/F BEAT Wolfpack (Taranaki): 43-40
S/F BEAT Brotherz (Bay of Plenty): 52-47
Final LOST TO No Limit Ballers (Wellington) : 26-56
