Sports Awards – What a Night to Remember! 🏆✨
We had an amazing evening celebrating our incredible student athletes and the power of sport at the Ōtūmoetai College Sports Awards on Tuesday night! The atmosphere was electric as we came together to recognise the hard work, talent, and dedication of our sports community.
A huge thank-you to our inspiring Guest Speaker, Luuka Jones — Ōtūmoetai College alumna and Olympic medalist — for sharing her journey with such clarity, humour, and heart. Her message about “baking the cake” and choosing the right people for your kitchen will definitely stick with our athletes and coaches alike! 🎂💪
Our gratitude also goes to MC Leo Wilson, who kept the night running smoothly and with plenty of energy, and to all our Teachers in Charge, Coaches, and Managers — your commitment, passion, and support for our students make all the difference.
Finally, a massive congratulations to all of our incredible award winners! You’ve done yourselves and our school proud. 🙌🎉
