Leavers Dinner 2025
The Leavers Dinner for year 13 students leaving Ōtūmoetai College was a huge success with over 200 students gathering to celebrate 5 years of college together. Fantastic performances from Rachel Stevens, Bebe Campbell and Aisha Scott as well as the ‘B-Sides’ got the evening going.
Highlights included the special award winners:
Lachlan Shefferd (most likely to teach at Ōtūmoetai College), Makenzie Kamo (most likely to win an argument against a brick wall), Dayna Bennett (most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse), Levi Retimana (most likely to become a meme), Harry Yoo (most likely to be late to the first day of university), Chelsea Fitt (most likely to remember everyone at the 30 year reunion), Kaelyn Timms (most likely to win the lotto but lose the ticket) and Marcus Harman (most likely to forget his ID on the first day of university).
A massive thanks to the deans (especially Caro Reyolds), Claire Galloway and Michelle Orchard for putting the evening together. A big shout out also goes to Big Smoke BBQs who catered the event.
To all the year 13 students leaving for new pastures we wish you well on your journey.
