Car Wash Fundraiser – 17 August

Important Reminder Regarding Mobile Phones

The New Zealand Government regulations require that schools must ensure students do not use or access a phone while they are attending school, including during lunch time and breaks.  It is therefore important to remind students they need to bring cash, an Eftpos, debit or credit card to pay for fees at the student office and for kai at the school canteen.

Science Class Fun!

Our Year 9 Science class had such fun today with the models that everyone had made for homework this week.

Please see below a collage of the ones that I managed to get a picture of before they were either eaten, or otherwise destroyed.

I think the students had a great time showing off their work and sharing in the sugar- fest… I almost felt sorry for the Period 3 teachers!

Thanks for all of your hard work supporting the mahi here – I even had reports of one of our beautiful wahine getting up to bake at 3am this morning! – Mr Smith

Donating Blood Efforts

A massive well done to the 46 Ōtūmoetai College students who donated blood last Friday! Your selfless act has made a significant impact on our community. With 37 units collected, you’ve helped ensure that up to 111 lives could potentially be saved.

We are truly inspired by your compassion and commitment to helping others.

Our Mentor Leadership Team (Beatrice Proverbs, Charles Anderson, Charlie Minshall, Reuben Lightfoot, Phillipa Woodward – Deputy Principal) have organised the study session dates below for Term 3.
