ITTF Oceania Para Table Tennis Championship

A massive congratulations to Cadence Grant at ŌTC for being selected to represent New Zealand for the Para table tennis team and will take on Oceania at the International Table Tennis Federation Oceania para table tennis championship in Auckland on the 26-28th of September. This includes playing others from countries such as Australia, Tonga, Fiji and Tahiti.

The championship brings together the best para table tennis athletes from the Oceania region. Good luck Cadence!

Oceania Open Artistic Swimming Championships

Nika will be competing at the Oceania Open Artistic Swimming Championships 🌊💫 and the 2025 New Zealand National Championships in Wellington from 19–23 September.

Cook Island U17 Boys Basketball National Team Announcement

Congratulations to ŌTC Beau Marsters for being selected to represent the Cook Island U17 Boys National Team at the 2025 FIBA Oceania Cup in Samoa from 8-13 December!
All the hard work is paying off, good luck Beau!

Stewart Henderson – ŌTC Volleyball Legend 

On Thursday night Tauranga Volleyball were able to recognise the massive contribution of Legend Stewart Henderson has made to the club. Stu has been Tauranga Volleyball Club Chairperson from 1997 -2025.  Stu has now officially retired from that role but at ŌTC we are still blessed to have Stu courtside with our Junior and Senior volleyballers. His enduring commitment is legendary and inspiring.

Term 4 3×3 Registration

Are you interested in playing 3×3 for Ōtūmoetai College in the Tauranga City Basketball league in Term 4?

There are no trials or training… Just pick your team (consists of 4-5 players), choose a team name and you must have one adult to score.
The weekly league commences Monday 20th October and concludes 8th December (6 weeks – NO games 27th October and 3rd November). Games will be held at Mercury Arena, Baypark from 4.00 – 6.00pm.

Join Ōtūmoetai College Rowing 

Tauranga Archers Schools Archery Term 4 Program
Tauranga Archers is offering lessons for year 7 to 13 students (11yrs+) at Graham Park.
This will be a weekly lesson run over six weeks where students will learn the basic safety and techniques for shooting a recurve bow.
We are Happy to have re-signups for those who have already attended a course.
Students will also get the opportunity to compete with other schools around the country through the Intermediate and Secondary School Shoot Programme, run by Archery New Zealand (ANZ).

$130 for Six, 1.5 hour archery lessons with all equipment provided.

Class Times Term 4 2025
Wednesday : 4:00 to 5:30pm
Saturday : 9am to 10:30am
Saturday : 10:30 to 12pm
We would be happy to answer any questions for interested students, or any questions you may have.

Volleyball Holiday Camp

Volleyball Bay of Plenty are hosting 3 Holiday Camps over the upcoming school break. The camps will be on September 23, 24 and 25.

These camps are designed for athletes in Years 7–10, offering a fun and supportive environment to grow skills, meet new players, and enjoy volleyball during the school break.
