Rugby Sevens

7’s Rugby – Year 9-13

7’s Rugby (male and female) is played during Term 1 and 4.

It is based around 1 or 2 tournaments that The Bay Rugby Union organise during these terms.

2024, BOP Secondary Schools 7’s Tournament will be held on Wednesday October 30, Paengaroa Domain.

The tournament is a one-day event which includes Boys and Girls.

There will be two grades:

Junior Grade – year 9,10’s (inclusive)

Senior Open Grade – year 11,12 and 13’s (inclusive)

2024 Trainings

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3.30pm on the school fields for all year groups. Any questions see Mr Carter.

Volunteer coaches and managers are always needed.

To ensure that we can provide a successful rugby programme we are reliant on coaches and managers to help coach and manage all of our teams.
