Swimming

Swimming is a sport in which we have a School competition and then take students to Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Swimming Championships.

It is a very individualised sport where students swim at many meets throughout the year and normally go individually to New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championships.

The following are 2021 dates for the Secondary Schools events:

Schools Swimming Sports:
Registrations – Please register through the PE office

Event Date: Thursday 18th March 2021

BOP Secondary Schools Swimming Championships:
School Registration form closes – Monday 22nd March 2021

Event Date – Tuesday 30th March 2021 @ Baywave, Tauranga

NISS Swimming Championships:
School Registration form closes –  Thursday 13th May 2021

Event Dates: Saturday 12th Sunday 13th June 2021 @ Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, Wellington
