Congratulations to Paige Peters (Y12), who as a representative of the Waiariki Under 17 Maori netball team, placed 3rd at the Aotearoa Maori Nationals (AMNOHL) played in New Plymouth over Easter weekend.

Well done and we look forward to hearing of your continued successes!

Girls Rugby

Ōtūmoetai College Girls rugby team visited Papamoa College for a preseason hit out. For many this was their first taste of rugby – they were awesome and definitely enjoyed the experience.

BMX Success

During the school holidays hundreds of BMX riders transcended to the Rotorua Supercross BMX track to compete in the 2023 Oceania Championships. Not only did the event cater for all ages from 5 to 50 plus but also attracted Elite riders from Australia and New Zealand.

Once again the action was hectic and fiercely competitive in the 16 year old Female category with Y11 student Hannah Mason finishing in 3rd place. A great end to her summer season.
