The Rombies

Named after Otumoetai College Media Studies teacher Ellen Rombouts, the Rombies, held on October 17 in the Otumoetai College Performing Arts Centre, was an Oscars-themed awards evening that celebrated film and photography.

Sports Awards Evening 2019

The Sports Awards were held on the 22nd October, it was our opportunity to celebrate the many sporting achievements of our students.
Congratulations to all our recipients.

Young Enterprise Regional Success

Well done to Otumoetai College students with their success in the Young Enterprise Competition. This is where students produce and market a product. Great night with awards for Runner up and Finalist for the Market Stall award, Runner up and Finalist for the Financial award, Runner Up for the Teamwork Award, Runner up and Finalist for the Innovation Award, and Overall Regional Winners who will now go down to Wellington in December to compete Nationally!



Runner up:
Sacredlabel (OTC Y13) Louise Bremner, Jasmine Baggaley, Shayla Holloway and Alexi Gibert-De Rios.

Winner: SEAD (OTC - Y13) Jorja Gibson, Tristan Torr, Kenzi Mason, and Jane Weng.


Runner up: Bumble (OTC -Y12) Amber Harrison, Baylee Dyer, Solomon Nietes.

Winner: Allure (OTC - Y12) Ashleigh Ford, Holly Thomson, Grace Reade, Indigo Mincher, Arahia McKinney. 

Runner up: Scaredlabel (OTC- Y13)
Winner: Moraka (Papamoa)

Regional Winner (and off to Nationals!): Bumble (OTC y12) Solomon Nietes, Baylee Dyer, Amber Harrison.
