International Food Festival Success

The annual Otumoetai College Food Festival took place on Friday evening 19 March. It was great to host this community event again this year after a COVID-disrupted 2020.

Despite the fact that there was less of an International flavour this year with fewer overseas students currently on our roll, it was a very successful evening. We were delighted to have so many visitors from our local community come into the school.

They were able to wander around the various stalls and sample a range of tasty food - both savoury and sweet.

A number of musical acts performed on a nearby stage, completing the carnival atmosphere.

Many thanks to all those who made it such a successful evening.

Jeremy Redmore Mentoring

Ōtūmoetai College Rock Bands had the opportunity to work with Jeremy Redmore, well known New Zealand musician, songwriter and music producer. These bands had individual and intensive workshops with Jeremy. They spent time developing their song writing and music composition skills along with developing their stage craft.

It was awesome to work with such an inspiring musician!
