High School Musical

With auditions taking place at the end of 2018 and rehearsals happening since the beginning of 2019, the combined efforts of close to 150 staff, students, and adult helpers was realised during the past week as Otumoetai College presented Disney's High School Musical at Baycourt Theatre.

The 5 shows which took place from June 5th-8th were well attended and well received by the audiences who were treated to an enjoyable and fun performance.

A huge congratulations to all involved for their efforts, enthusiasm, and commitment to another brilliant Otumoetai College production.

'We're all in this together!'

Music Department Concert - Wed 3 July 5.45pm

The following groups will be performing in the Music Department Concert on Wednesday 3rd July in the Performing Arts Centre, 5.30-7.30ish.

Symphonic Band, String Group, Guitar Group, Heavy Metal, Delta, St Klaed’s Computer, Jazz Band, String Quartet, Woofwind, Birdhouse, Suds & Katrina Porter.

All welcome, tea and coffee offered afterwards.

Synchronized Swimming Success

Sophie Black and Chloe Boyt competed in the North Islands Synchronized Swimming Competitions last weekend.

Congratulations to them both for winning 1st Place in Secondary Schools Duet, 2nd in Duet, 1st in Junior Tech Combo and 2nd in Under 15's Combo.

This is a great feat to take out the title for secondary schools in the North Island and we are very proud of the girls. Over 100 competitors attend the event from all over the North Island.
