NZ Rowing Club Championships

Last week the Tauranga Rowing Club including our College Rowers had a fantastic 3 days at the NZ Championships with everyone getting through to finals, semi-finals or repechage.

Jenna Brangwynne (Year 11 student) rowed extremely well in her Women’s Intermediate single sculls A Final, but the competition were just able to hold her from the podium. She came in a very respectable 4th - fourth in the whole of NZ!

Jenna also placed in the Women's Club Single Sculls A Final which was a class above her age group. She rowed a brave race, but was overclassed by the older rowers.

It can still be said that Jenna is the 8th fastest Club Rower in NZ. Well done!
